So, what's your favourite?
I know that each genre can
be divided up into millions
of sub-genres, and then those can
be divided up even more,
but this poll is just to get a basic
look at what kind of music you guys prefer.

I have so many kind of music that I like, divided on my age,
On high school, I liked rock and heavy metal
On late high school, I switched to disco
On college, I liked jazz'n'rock

There's just so many kinds
of music now, it's hard to
categorize them. I like rock,
but I despise Nickleback.
And taste is always changing too.

I used to be a lot more hip-hop, but then a lot of my friends listen to a lot of rock, so I started to listen to more.. I have very eclectic taste, and I have always liked a little of everything from country to classical.. Although, once I discovered Blue October, I became overly obsessed... I absolutely love Blue October, and they do not fit into any real category or genre.. They have some what hard stuff, as well as almost hip-hoppy stuff, and really really good soft stuff.. It's all very personal and poetically, and profoundly written by the lead vocalist Justin Furstenfeld.. That's enough anyway... Embarassed

I fell in love with rock music (heavy metal especially) after listening to the distortion instrument sound. It was so unique at that time (1971). Also most early rock music were dynamic and full of rebellion words. Now, even jazz music incorporates distortion guitar.
